This past weekend Scott and I ran our first 5 K. We did pretty good I think considering it was our first. We placed 7th and 8th in our age group and finished in 27 minutes. Scott's brother chad also ran and finished 3rd in his age group. Mom came down to keep Cooper for the race so on Friday we had some mom/daughter time and did a little shopping.
Cooper, Daddy, and The Panther at the fall fest after the race.
Gana and Cooper after a little fun at the fall fest.
Cooper showing off Uncle Chad's medal.
And yes there is a white table cloth on my sofa table because Cooper thinks it is a race track, landing strip, etc. and I don't want it to get all scratched up. Lol!
Scott, Me, and Chad after the race.
My friend Jenn and I before the race. Yes, it was a no make up kind of morning. This was about 6:30 am.
Cooper with his new blower.
Cooper and Daddy blowing off the grass after they mowed. Cooper comes to me and says "Shoes on like Daddy" then heads off with his blower just like daddy! So sweet!
This is Cooper being silly. I was doing laundry and he got Scott's socks and put them on. Too funny!
A few Friday nights ago Scott and I took Cooper to a Midlothian football game. Cooper just loved it! He watched the whole game and was just clapping and yelling!
Mommy and Cooper at the game.
While we were shopping I stopped to get one of those quick massages in the mall because I had a crick in my neck. So while I was there Gana took Cooper to build a bear and this is what he made. He loves it and can tell you all about what he did to build it. He says heart in it, filled it up, and bubble bath. While he is saying all this he is using his hands to tell the story. Haha! He got to put a heart in the bear and then stuff it. After they stuffed it he laid it on some fake bubble and and gave it a bath.

Where did you get that orange shirt...I like it. Your friend makes you look tall...I never get to take a picture with me above someone else.
Congrats on the race! Sounds like ya'll did great!!!! I wish I looked as beautiful as you at 6:30 in the morning:) Cooper is getting so big-it sounds like we tell our stories the exact same way-with our hands:)
I got the shirt at Rue 21. They are buy one get one half off. They run small. I had to get a large!
Loved the pictures. Cooper and I had so much fun letting him pick out his own bear, building it, and picking out his wardrobe. I am glad he loves "Buster Brown". I am with Ashley one the shirt. It is really cute and the color looks great on you and love the necklace too. Thanks for spending the day with me, it was fun and we had a "FEW" good laughs. Ha!
Then that means I may have to get a 2X to fit over the belly....maybe I won't do that! :(
You look pretty in orange. Congrats on the race! I guess you gave up on the coffee table, huh? I tell my girls to move to the fireplace, but now it has fall decor on it. Mine just gets fingerprints on it all the time.
Great job on running the 5K! I LOVE running...and used to be a distance runner prior to the kids. I ran ALL the time. Now I don't think I could run to the corner and back! Lol! Maybe after a 4th baby, I will get back in it. Key word: Maybe. :) Anyhow, great job! And the picture of you and Cooper is such a good one, and as always, you look beautiful!
