Cooper's Christmas Program

Cooper had his Christmas program at school last night. He didn't do anything but play with the bubbles! Here are a few pictures. He doesn't like to take pictures so I take what I can get!

20 Weeks

Where do I start? This last month has kind of been a roller coaster. I started bleeding the week before Thanksgiving and was put on bed rest for a week. The doctor thought it might be placenta abruption but thank goodness it wasn't. That is where the placenta detaches from the uterus and the baby doesn't get all the nutrition it needs and stops growing. The bleeding stopped and my placenta moved up in my uterus. We really don't know what caused the bleeding but from doing several sonograms everything looks to be ok now. I have had a couple of days of light spotting since then. The Doctor did say that I am at higher risk for Reese to stop growing and we really have to monitor her growth since I had bleeding in the second trimester. We are doing sonograms every four weeks to make sure her growth curve continues and to check my placenta.
It has been kind of hard on Cooper because I can't pick him up and it was a change for Daddy to be taking him to daycare, picking him up and doing everything for a week. He is doing better now and is very sweet and loving to his sister. He will hug and kiss my belly several times a day and loves to listen to her heartbeat at home. I think he will be a GREAT big brother. I have had a little bit of a cough and he tells me "Mommy, I am sorry you are feeling bad but I am going to take care of you and Reese." So sweet!

My 20 week check-up went well. I have gained six pounds overall. I did find out I am anemic so I am on iron now. Reese is weighing in at 13oz and is in the 77%. Most babies are about 10 1/2 oz at this point and about the size of a banana. I am measuring 23 cm which is a little big but my sono's all say I am 5 days further along. She may be a big one but probably not for long! Haha! During the sonogram she had the hiccups and had her hand up beside her face. It was so cute! I think she looks alot like Cooper. Below is a picture of Reese and the next picture is of Cooper.

Reese at 20 weeks.

I think I was a little further along but here is a picture of Cooper.

I know I look terrible but Tuesday's are my days off so no make-up and the hair doesn't get fixed. LOL

IT'S A.......

GIRL!!!

We went to the doctor yesterday for our 16 week check up. We had a sonogram first to look at the sex, do measurements, and look at the placenta to see if it had moved up any. So far it hasn't and if it doesn't it means we will be having a C-section. We took Cooper with us to find out the sex and it kind of turned into a mess. I came down with the flu on Wednesday so I wasn't feeling good at all. Cooper didn't enjoy the sonogram too much. I think he was more worried about what they were doing to his mommy! Everything looked great and we found out we are having a baby GIRL! She is weighing about 6 ounces. Scott and I both had a feeling it was going to be a girl and in the beginning Cooper kept saying he was having a baby sister. We are super excited but I don't really think it has all set in with everything that is going on. I have a cute video of Cooper telling everyone he is having a baby sister but can't get it to download.

I am 16 weeks but am measuring closer to 17 weeks. I started feeling her move at 15 weeks. In the beginning I always thought I was a week further along than the doctor got from the first sonogram measurements. I gained 3 pounds this visit. I was able to stop taking my nausea medicine about 14 week and finally have my energy and appetite back!

Here is the bedding I have chosen for Baby Reese! I just love it!

Trunk or Treat!!!

This year for Halloween Cooper was a "bull rider". I have to say he is one handsome cowboy! Haha! He won second place in the costume contest at the church Trunk or Treat this year.

Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkins, and Lego Land

This past week was a busy one. On Friday Cooper had his 3 year old check up and he got an A+ at his visit! His stats are as follows:
28 lbs- 15th %
35.5 in- 10th% ( He dropped from the 36%)
What can I say he doesn't have much of a chance to be very big! LOL

After his check up we went to the Pumpkin Patch to take pictures and pick out pumpkins to carve. Saturday morning we got up and carved our pumpkins before heading out to Lego Land. It is amazing what all they can do with Lego's. We all had a good time and Cooper really enjoyed it. They even had a 4D movie which was just crazy. It looked like the objects were right in the room with you. It was funny to watch the kids at the movie because they would be reaching out for the objects thinking they could grab them.

This was a little ride you could go on and you had to shoot at all the targets. Scott was really getting into it!

Baby #2- 12 Weeks

Well, we had our 12 week check up on Thursday, October 6th. I had a little scare that morning . When I woke up I was spotting a tiny amount. Of course I started bawling and thought the worst because of my last miscarriage. We went in for our sonogram first and saw the heart beating away and Baby Wiemers was moving all around! It was a huge relief! The doctor said everything looked good! He thinks my spotting is because I have a low lying placenta. Your placenta is usually formed on top and mine is on the bottom of my uterus. He said it is not completely covering my cervix and thinks we will see it move up throughout the pregnancy. He just told me to take it easy for the next six weeks and we will check it again when we look at the baby's anatomy! So on November 10th we should find out the sex of the baby!

These names are not set in stone but here is what we are thinking:

Boy:
Kiptyn Dean
Scott loves Kiptyn and Dean would be after my grandfather Evered whom I never had the privilege to meet. It was my Dad's father and he was killed in a plane crash when my dad was 3. So needless to say it would be very sentimental and special!

Girl:
Reese Olivia
Love the name Reese! Not 100% on the middle name yet so any suggestion are welcome for a middle name!

So what's going on with me:
Symptoms: Still a little nauseated at times, constipation, fatigue
Weight: No weight gain yet
I am starting to wear some maternity clothes. It is amazing how much sooner you show with the second one. With Cooper you couldn't even tell I was pregnant at this point!

COOPER'S 3rd BIRTHDAY!

We had Cooper's 3rd Birthday party early in August so we could have a swim party. So on October 5th, his real birthday we celebrated with some friends at the park. We got Cooper the Lion King movie and he was super excited!

Baby #2 - 8 Weeks

We are expecting Baby #2 around April 25, 2012. We heard the heartbeat and it was 168. I am eight weeks along in this picture. I think I am already showing a lot more than I did with Cooper. Things are going pretty well and we are very excited! We had our first doctors appointment last week and he said everything was looking good! We got a few sonogram pictures but none of them turned out very well.

Symptoms: Nausea, fatigue, and constipation

Cravings: Salty Foods

Cooper's 3rd Birthday Party!

We had Cooper's 3rd Birthday early so we could have a swimming party. The kids all had a lot of fun swimming and playing together. Thanks to everyone who came and made the long trips down!

Scott and I got Cooper this truck for his birthday. He loves it and the kids had a blast all loaded up going for a ride!

Cooper and his cousin Kennedy having a "chicken fight".

Yes, you read that right, Cooper is going to be a Big Brother! We found out Tuesday and shared it with everyone by Cooper opening this shirt from Scott and I at the party.

The only part of the cupcakes Cooper would eat was the icing!
