Easter 2011

We had a GREAT Easter! We stayed very busy with all of the little ones.We had a fish fry, played baseball, rode horses, hunted eater eggs, rode bikes, rode the ranger, enjoyed all of the family being together and Cooper got his first Rattle snake. Scott, Cooper, and my dad were at the deer lease and ran across a rattle snake. Scott shot it and and sent me a picture and told me it was Cooper's first kill. It had ten rattles and a button and was about four feet long! As you can tell from the pictures below the kids had a blast being together and so did the big kids! Haha I just love it!

I think Mom was tired from all those grand kids!

I wonder what kind of story Cooper was telling????

The ranger is a hit! All the kids love to ride it!

March Maddness!!!

Well, lets just say March was a crazy month. It started off very bitter sweet! We had a new niece and nephew born a day apart! My sister Ashley had a little girl, Leighton Grace, born March 10th, and my sister-in-law had a little boy, Asher Michael, born March 11th. They are both precious and Cooper just loves them. On February 2nd, Scott and I found out we were expecting our second baby! We were so excited and so was Cooper. I was having some light spotting and went in at 7 weeks and we saw the baby and a heartbeat which was much relief. I finally stopped spotting and on March 14 we went in for our 9 week check-up. Sadly to say Doctor was unable to detect a heartbeat and thought by the size of the baby I lost it at about 8 weeks. It was very hard news to take but for some reason I had a feeling this was going to happen. I went in and had a D&C on March 16th and everything went well. I still have my little angel's pictures up on my fridge. I just can't bring myself to take them down. Cooper was so sweet when I was pregnant. He would kiss my belly and say "I love this baby in your belly so much!" We told him what happened and that the baby is in heaven with Jesus. He will ask from time to time where the baby is and then say "the baby is in heaven but we will ask God to bring mommy and daddy another one." It just melts my heart! I am so thankful for Cooper and the blessing that he is. I really believe he has helped me through this process. On the sweet side the next weekend we made the trip to visit the new little ones! I was afraid of how Cooper would do but he did really well. He wanted to hold them and even sang to them. It was too precious! It was a nice visit and they are truly little miracles! Sorry the pictures are out of order. My little country star! Trip to the Dallas Zoo with Gana and Papaw! Cooper loved the reptiles except for the BIG snakes!

At the park with Daddy!

Fishing with Pop and Mimi. When Cooper caught this fish he just ran up and grabbed it. He wasn't scared a bit but after he got finned he didn't want a thing to do with it.
