Thanksgiving, Christmas Decor, and Video

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Scott's family this year. We stayed 4 days and stuffed ourselves all 4 of them. We just hung out around the house, did a little shopping, and went to look at Christmas lights. Cooper entertained us all as always. He even started saying a new word "butball" (football). He would go up to the TV when a football game was on and start saying it.

Oooo....

Pops and Cooper looking at Christmas lights. We went to Santa's Forrest to look at the lights. It was 12 acres of lights that you drove through and looked at. Cooper enjoyed it for the most part but towards the end all he wanted to do was crawl around in the truck.
Mimi taking Cooper for a ride.
Not the best picture of Cooper but I had to show him in his little hat.
A close up of the tree. I added feathers and berries to the tree this year. Surprisingly enough Cooper is doing well with the tree.

Cooper is Daddy's little helper as you can tell. He was helping him do laundry tonight. Scott would drop it on the floor for him and he would bend down and put it in the dryer. Too Cute!!! Sorry it's a little dark.

Video

This is a new face Cooper makes. You know when you are getting on to your kid, you look at them and say their name, tilt your head and open your eye kind of big. One day I did that to Cooper and he looked at me and did it back to me. I laughed so hard when he did it. Now we call it his "getting in trouble face." He has also started saying uh-oh. We were putting up Christmas stuff last night and he was in it all. It will be a challenge to keep him out of the tree.

13 Months

This is one of Cooper's 1 yr. pictures. I can't get it to enlarge so...
Cooper is 13 months old today. He really has a little personality and is jabbering a lot. He can point to his eyes, clap, likes to put on peoples shoes, likes to rub soap and lotion on, sings this little light of mine and puts his finger up and whirls it around, likes to blow his nose- he puts the tissue up to his nose and blows with his mouth (so funny), his new word is night-night, and he has 5 teeth.

Halloween

This is Cooper in the costume contest.

Cooper was a hunter for Halloween. He looked so cute I would have to say! We went to a trunk or treat at our church. They had "Mummy Dogs" to eat, a costume contest, and lots of trunks all decorated up. I have a few pictures of the trunks all decorated up. They went all out.

Cooper was feeding our friend Mitch some cotton candy.

Pray for Cooper

Please say a little prayer for Cooper. We found out this morning he has Strep. We were up most of the night last night with him. He had a fever of 100.3 before we went to bed and we woke up about 3:00 and it was 103.7 and that was with Motrin in his system. I have to say it was a little scary. You could tell he was not feeling good at all. He just wanted to be held and he felt like he was on fire. We have started him on an antibiotic and pray that it helps him soon. I hate seeing my little baby in pain. He would not eat or drink much today but finally tonight he ate and drank some. He was acting a little more like himself tonight. God Bless!

Tarleton Homecoming

This weekend we headed to Stephenville to the Tarleton Homecoming. Scott is alumni of Tarleton and he wanted to go back and see some old friends and they just happened to be playing ACU that weekend, so it worked out perfect to get to go back and see family. On Sunday we met Ashley and my mom to take Cooper's 1 year pictures and a few family pictures. I will post those later when Ashley gets them edited. So needless to say we were road warriors this weekend but it was fun to go and do.

Cooper on the field at half time.

Morgan cheesing for the camera.

Cooper and Kennedy had a good tome playing together.

I thought this was neat. It was on the campus.

Daddy and Cooper on Alumni Island!

Daddy and Cooper on the cannon on Tarleton's Campus.
I can't believe it but 4 years ago Scott and I took our engagement pictures in this same area.

Weekend Trip, Pumpkin Patch, and Visistor

GiGi came home with us from NB. She fell and hurt her knee so she had to use a walker. Cooper loved to take rides on it.

I just had to get this picture of Cooper sleeping. He is propped up on his bumper pad and pillow.

Pops and Mimi's neighbor pulling Cooper on his 4-Wheeler. No it does not have a motor, thank goodness!!!

Cooper trying to push the lawnmower. He thinks he is such a big boy!

We went to NB last weekend and they guys were building some goat pens. Cooper was right in the middle of it all.

Uncle Chad and Cooper at the pumpkin patch.

We took Cooper to the pumpkin patch while we were in NB. I love this picture of him. It was hard to take pictures because it was the wrong time of the day and the sun was in our eyes.
