GIRL!!!
We went to the doctor yesterday for our 16 week check up. We had a sonogram first to look at the sex, do measurements, and look at the placenta to see if it had moved up any. So far it hasn't and if it doesn't it means we will be having a C-section. We took Cooper with us to find out the sex and it kind of turned into a mess. I came down with the flu on Wednesday so I wasn't feeling good at all. Cooper didn't enjoy the sonogram too much. I think he was more worried about what they were doing to his mommy! Everything looked great and we found out we are having a baby GIRL! She is weighing about 6 ounces. Scott and I both had a feeling it was going to be a girl and in the beginning Cooper kept saying he was having a baby sister. We are super excited but I don't really think it has all set in with everything that is going on. I have a cute video of Cooper telling everyone he is having a baby sister but can't get it to download.
I am 16 weeks but am measuring closer to 17 weeks. I started feeling her move at 15 weeks. In the beginning I always thought I was a week further along than the doctor got from the first sonogram measurements. I gained 3 pounds this visit. I was able to stop taking my nausea medicine about 14 week and finally have my energy and appetite back!

Congratulations, Kim! I am SO excited for yall! I LOVE it! Reese is my very favorite girl name! We would have used it if it weren't for having to stick with all our J names. ;) She is gonna be beautiful, just like her momma, I know it. ;) So happy for you and Scott. What a blessing.

Super excited about the news of another little girl. I think I know a little more about the girls, but ha I am getting the boy thing figured out now! Such a cute little messenger and yes he is telling everyone that her name is Barney. Congratulations on the news of a little girl to go along with that sweet little boy of yours. I bet he told me 100 times "I LOVE YOU GANA" this weekend. When I was leaving for work I kept hearing HA GANA, which I think I heard one million times over the weekend. Guess it was just a voice in my head. Ha! Thanks for sharing him and glad you are feeling better.
