Kennedy's 1st Birthday

Papaw with the Grand kids!

The family eating after church on Sunday.
Mamaw and the kids getting ready for bed.

Aunt Ashley and Joz looking on.

Kennedy decide to share with Cooper. He would not eat it he only wanted to squish it in his hands. Kennedy loved it. She would have kept eating until she ate it all, I think. Her belly was so hard.

Kennedy digging into her cake with big sister Morgan watching!

Cooper relaxing in his chair Gana and Papaw got him to go camping!

Cooper and I headed to my sisters on Friday to celebrate my nieces 1st birthday. She had a zebra party and everything was so cute. She even had an outfit to match. Cooper and I stayed at my younger sister's house and she cooked up some good food for us. We really enjoyed our time with everyone. We don't get to see the little ones together enough. Morgan loves her little cousin. She would tell everyone "this is my little cousin, Cooper." She kept telling Cooper, "come to big cousin." It was so sweet. Scott was in Houston all week and then headed to his parents to help his brother with his new house so he was not able to go with us. I know he enjoyed time with his family as well.

Busy, Busy, Busy

These are the little girls I kept 8 years ago. They have grown up so much. Cooper and I got to go visit them while we were in Olney. We have been busy as you can see from the pictures. Scott had to go to Houston for a few days so Cooper and I loaded up and went to my parents. Mom and Dad had to work so they just got to see Cooper in the evenings but it was good not to be home by ourselves.

Cooper loves the horses. He reaches his hand out to pet them and likes to pull their mane.

Come here horses!

Friday night we went to Texas Roadhouse to eat and Cooper got to sit on the saddle while we were waiting.

Mommy and Cooper at Roadhouse.

Saturday we went down the street to our friends house and Hunter took Cooper for a ride in his Gator. It had seat belts so we did not have to worry about Cooper falling out.

Monday we took Cooper to the Ft. Worth Zoo. He was not too interested but had fun riding on Scott's shoulders and yelling and playing.

Ok, J. Witten's (a player of the Dallas Cowboys) wife took our picture here. I was taking Scott and Cooper's picture and she asked if we wanted her to take all of ours. Then I got to take there's. We knew it was him before she took our picture but did not want to say anything. After they took our picture Scott said" are you who I think you are?" He said, " I don't know." Scott said "Are you Witten?" He said, "That's me." I really like him. He seems like a really good guy. He has two little boys and a cute little wife. He of course is huge.

I snuck a picture of him on the Carousel.

On the Carousel

"I'm pooped!"

After we got home we took Cooper to the pool and he loved it. We did not stay too long because he was getting tired.

Cute Videos

This is Cooper and Hunter (our friend down the street) going on a Gator ride. Cooper loved it! He was buckled in and ready to go with his six shooter in hand. The other video Scott was singing and Cooper started moving his head to the beat. You might have to pause my music on the side to hear the video.

Cooper's Haircut and Crawling!

Cooper's hair was getting a little long over his ears and on the top. Scott cut the sides with the clippers and I finished it up on top with the scissors. Surprisingly enough he sat still and let us cut it.

My new haircut!
Cooper started trying to crawl about 2 weeks ago and just started crawling like this a couple of days ago. He gets where he wants around the house now. He will get up on his hands and knees but when he is ready to go he drops down and off he goes.

Birthday and Mother's Day!

Thursday was Scott's 28th Birthday. Happy Birthday Scott! Poor thing had to drive in from Houston on his Birthday. Once he got home he opened some presents and I took him out to eat. We went to Johnny Carino's and guess who was there, Deon Sanders! That was neat to see him in person. He went in and the manager took him to a private room. My Mom and Mamaw watched Cooper while we had a date. They were down because my grandmother had a Doctors appointment with an orthopedist for her shoulder. She is going to have a total shoulder replacement in June. Please keep her in your prayers.

Watching Cooper crawl.

Happy Birthday to a Great Dad and Husband!

Our date!

Cooper in his swimming pool!

We went to Scott's parents for Mother's day. We enjoyed our time there and Cooper got plenty of attention as you can see.
Uncle Chad and Cooper!

Bath Time!

The gang.

My first Mother's Day was wonderful. I got a sweet little card with Cooper's hand print in it, a gift card, and some clothes.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO GANA AND MIMI!!! You are both such great mother's and have made a lasting impression in our lives. Thanks for everything!

7 Months

1 day old
Cooper is 7 months old today! He is really becoming active and starting to get into everything within reach. He loves to growl and blow bubbles. He is saying mama indiscriminately, starting to crawl (scoot), stand holding on to something, waves, trying to go from his stomach to sitting, and weighs a whopping 18 pounds!

Watching cartoons this morning!

This is a new face he makes. He scrunches up his nose.

Daddy pulling me around in a box.

Yee Haw!!! He can sit on his rocking horse all by himself.

Getting ready to go!

Baby Food and Bluebonnets

We took Cooper down the street to take his pictures in the bluebonnets. It was hard to get him to look at the camera because all he wanted to do was grab them. Some of the pictures the color is not very good because my battery was going dead. We will have to try again later.

Like this one. It is one of my favorites but the color is not very good.

"I love smearing my baby food!" I gave him some applesauce to eat with his fingers. He really doesn't like applesauce but I thought he might like it if he ate with his hands.

Cooper had been eating a biter biscuit and they are so messy but he loves them.
