March Maddness!!!

Well, lets just say March was a crazy month. It started off very bitter sweet! We had a new niece and nephew born a day apart! My sister Ashley had a little girl, Leighton Grace, born March 10th, and my sister-in-law had a little boy, Asher Michael, born March 11th. They are both precious and Cooper just loves them. On February 2nd, Scott and I found out we were expecting our second baby! We were so excited and so was Cooper. I was having some light spotting and went in at 7 weeks and we saw the baby and a heartbeat which was much relief. I finally stopped spotting and on March 14 we went in for our 9 week check-up. Sadly to say Doctor was unable to detect a heartbeat and thought by the size of the baby I lost it at about 8 weeks. It was very hard news to take but for some reason I had a feeling this was going to happen. I went in and had a D&C on March 16th and everything went well. I still have my little angel's pictures up on my fridge. I just can't bring myself to take them down. Cooper was so sweet when I was pregnant. He would kiss my belly and say "I love this baby in your belly so much!" We told him what happened and that the baby is in heaven with Jesus. He will ask from time to time where the baby is and then say "the baby is in heaven but we will ask God to bring mommy and daddy another one." It just melts my heart! I am so thankful for Cooper and the blessing that he is. I really believe he has helped me through this process. On the sweet side the next weekend we made the trip to visit the new little ones! I was afraid of how Cooper would do but he did really well. He wanted to hold them and even sang to them. It was too precious! It was a nice visit and they are truly little miracles! Sorry the pictures are out of order. My little country star! Trip to the Dallas Zoo with Gana and Papaw! Cooper loved the reptiles except for the BIG snakes!

Cooper playing with his second cousin Peyton. They had a blast together!

At the park with Daddy!

Fishing with Pop and Mimi. When Cooper caught this fish he just ran up and grabbed it. He wasn't scared a bit but after he got finned he didn't want a thing to do with it.

Sorry about your loss! Sounds like Cooper knows just what to say. He is growing so fast and is such a cutie! Congrats on the new additions, isn't being an aunt so much fun!

I can't tell you how sorry I am for you, Scott, and Cooper. What a sweet little boy you have to help you through this tough time.

I'm loving all the pictures of those sweet babies and Mr. Cooper. I'm sure he will be a wonderful cousin to them!!

What can I say about March. One day I am there beginning a life with my our new grandbaby and then a few days later we loose a sweet baby. So much happiness and so much pain but we will all get through the bad times and move on and you will have a baby again soon. I am so glad you have Cooper to help you at those hard times .

I love the picture of you holding Leighton up by your face. All sweet pictures of you all and Cooper with the babies.

Look forward to seeing you all at Easter. I have lots of fun things planned.

Kim, I sent you a message on FB, but again, I am so very sorry. I hate that yall have had to go through that; I remember my miscarriage was so vividly, and pray I never experience that again, and you either. I will be praying for another healthy baby to be in your tummy again soon. Thinking of you.
PS. Adorable pictures of Cooper...he's getting so big! And such a sweet, sweet picture of you and Leighton! Love it!
