Reesie Poo is Four Months Old!

 Reesie poo is Reese's nickname ( I guess Rice is too. That is what her cousin Leighton calls her) Her brother started calling her that just a few days after she was born. I think its so sweet! Reese is just the happiest little girl and such an easy baby. Even if she is dog tired she will not cry and still just smile as big as she can. She brings so much joy to our lives and we are so blessed!

Her brother was almost 3 lbs heavier and 2 inches longer than her at this point even though she was bigger than him when she was born. She is just so petite and dainty.Everyone says she looks just like Cooper.
We started rice cereal this month but only tried it for about a week and she didn't really seem to take to it so I think we will wait another month or so and try again.
She loves to put everything in her mouth and chews on it like crazy. We can't keep her in one place anymore, she is rolling everywhere and scooting a little. She loves to talk, smile, and blow bubbles. She was rolling over in her woombie so we transitioned her to a sleep sack this month and it took her a few days to adjust. Other than that she is a good sleeper.

Reese is 3 Months Old!

Reese is already three months old! She weights about 11 1/2 pounds and eats about 4oz every 3 to 3 1/2 hours. She is still about a pound smaller than Cooper was at this age. She is very petite and dainty. She can roll over both ways now! She loves her hands and keeps them in her mouth all the time including when she is nursing and eating a bottle. Her reflux is a lot better but she still spits up a lot. It is easier just to leave her in a diaper all day or else she goes thru about 3-4 suits a day. She has some of the biggest most beautiful smiles that will melt your heart! I think she is going to be a thumb sucker! She took her first swim this month and loved it! She is a very happy and pretty easy baby thank goodness because her brother is giving us a run for our money! Haha!

Reese is Two Months Old

Reese turned two months on Monday! I know I always say this but time flies! She is a happy little baby! She has acid reflux but it is  alot better now that she is on Enfamil AR. I was solely breastfeeding at first but she was very fussy and in lots of pain so I supplement with the Enfamil AR and now she is so happy! I love to watch her streach and smile when she wakes up! I think this is my favorite part of the day! She is cooing and smiling a lot these days and even sleeping thru the night for mommy! We are all so in love with her and Cooper is wonderful with her. He loves to hug and kiss on her all the time!

Introducing Reese Olivia Wiemers

 Reese was born April 25, 2012 at 11:09 am. She weighted 7 lbs, 4 oz, and was 19 3/4 in. long.

38 Weeks

So as of Tuesday I was 38 weeks. I went to the doctor on Thursday for my 38 week check up and hadn't made a lot of progress. I was still almost dilated to a two and about 50% effaced. The doctor stripped my membranes and he said by the time he was done I was about 3 cm dilated. This morning I lost my mucus plug and had bloody show so maybe I will be going into labor in the next 24-48 hrs. I guess we will just wait and see.

Easter 2012

We weren't able to travel this year for Easter because we didn't know if Reese would decide to make her debut. Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at church and had a great time. They had a petting zoo, face painting, bounce house, a meal, and of course an egg hunt. Cooper had a great time and really enjoyed the petting zoo! Sunday we went over to our best friends parents house for an Easter lunch and another egg hunt! The meal was wonderful and we all left way too full!
